Romney on the issues

With the presidential debate only a few weeks away I think it would be a good idea to review our candidate Mitt Romneys policies on a few big issues. Next week we will review a few more.

LGBT Rights
Romneys views on LGBT rights have flipped and flopped since his first election as governor of Massachusetts. As of right now he believes that there should be social equality but doesn't want to grant them the same rights. Romney believes that marriage is an institution between a man and a woman and the strength of the family would be weakened by discontinuing the denial of civil rights.

National Security
Upping the countries GDP for military spending to 4%, firmer foreign policy, tapping mosques, and monitoring Muslim students are some of the biggest things Romney has proposed. He has no military experience though he regrets not enlisting when he was eligible for the draft.

Health Care
His first day in office Mitt has said that he is going to pass an executive order and work towards repealing Obamacare completely. Romney wants to give the job of reforming health care to the states because he believes there is not a one size fits all for health care. This he says is an initiative to restore state leadership, promote free markets, and empower consumer choice.

Energy
Romney wants America to become independent of foreign energy. Drilling for oil in America, using alternatives like biodiesel and nuclear power are his solutions. He believes that we can do this cheaper and much more efficiently than other countries that we're trading with are currently doing.

The Economy
In his first day in office Romney would implement his detailed plan which includes five bills and five executive orders. They are as follows.

5 Bills For Day One
• The American Competitiveness Act
Reduces the corporate income tax rate to 25%
• The Open Markets Act
Free Trade Agreements with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea
• The Domestic Energy Act
Directs the Department of the Interior to undertake a comprehensive energy review
• The Retraining Reform Act
Consolidates federal retraining programs and return these programs to the states
• The Down Payment on Fiscal Sanity Act
Immediately cuts non-security discretionary spending by 5 percent ($20 billion)

5 Executive Orders For Day One
• Secretary of Health and Human Services to return the maximum possible authority to the states
An Order to Cut Red Tape
• All agencies to initiate the elimination of Obama-era regulations that burden the economy or job creation
An Order to Boost Domestic Energy Production
• Department of the Interior to implement a process for rapid issuance of drilling permits to
An Order to Sanction China for Unfair Trade Practices
• Department of the Treasury to list China as a currency manipulator and the Department of Commerce to assess countervailing duties on Chinese imports
An Order to Empower American Businesses and Workers
• Reverses the executive orders issued by President Obama that tilt the playing field in favor of organized labor

Romney is a commie.

Yesterday Obama made told Washington that "The most important lesson I've learned is that you can't change Washington from the inside. You can only change it from the outside," which Romney decided to use against him saying "He says he can't change it from the inside. Well, I will." It sounds like he wants to force his way.

Out of context Obama probably meant something along the lines of "We are not the government. We are representative of the peoples government." and he said almost that when he said in an interview "That's how I got elected, and that's how the big accomplishments like health care got done, was because we mobilized the American people to speak out. That's how we were able to cut taxes for middle-class families," This is what we need. Someone to rally the people and ask them what they want and then someone who does it.

He went on to say "Something that I'd really like to concentrate on in my second term, is being in a much more constant conversation with the American people so that they can put pressure on Congress to help move some of these issues forward." Which is just what should happen. America for the people by the people.

Romneys new line of attack made him sound even more ignorant than the 'frank talk' about 47% of America that he doesn't need. It's never been clearer that Romney is a commie.

We know the next president.

Romney at a "fundraiser" stated that he is "for America" by saying that 47% of America thinks they are "entitled to homes, food, and health care”. Romney said that 47% of America "feel victims" saying that they are entitled to help from America. Of course Obama campaign clearly took the chance and got this video using it to help them selves. Romney is clearly the best choice for not voting for this comment on it but hey, Obama only helps us and Romney only kicks the weak while they are down.

As said by Mitt Romney"Of course there's a very different approach of the two different campaigns, as I point out I recognize that among those that pay no tax, approximately 47 percent of Americans, I'm not likely to be highly successful with the message of lowering taxes. That's not as attractive to those who don't pay income taxes as it is to those who do. And likewise those who are reliant on government are not as attracted to my message of slimming down the size of government. And so I then focus on those individuals who I believe are most likely to be able to be pulled into my camp." From Fox news as said by Mitt Romney

The full video about what Romney said at the fundraiser was published. Now he comments more on it about how he was only talking about what was going on around the big crowd of rich people that a funding a campaign about his presidency. The rich only want two things out of helping someone run for president one is a bigger profit so lower taxes, two is more freedom in there business.

Obama comment on this video was "One of the things I learned as president is you represent the entire country. If you want to be president, you have to work for everyone." In this comment people can see you do learn things as president and while being president you learn that you work for everyone not just the rich or poor, if one disagrees ask why.
